Get involved in extracurricular activities
Keep track of community service hours, leadership experiences, and any awards earned
Start preparing for the ACT
Mark upcoming test dates and when to register for them (ACT, SAT, PSAT)
Begin thinking about college and plans after high school
Build relationships with teachers, counselor, and principal to have a strong letter of recommendation
Start applying for scholarships
Start narrowing college choices
Discuss career opportunities with parents, family, counselor, and friends
Take the ACT
