The Illustrated Word

Illustration: A drawing, painting or printed work of art which explains, clarifies, illuminates, visually represents, or merely decorates a written text.

The word you choose will become the illustration, meaning the letters themselves will somehow relate to what the word is. Keep the word limited to between 4-8 letters. Turn the letters into things that relate to the word. The word as a whole should be represented visually, and in letters. Please look at the examples below if you are unsure of what I am looking for. Remember to go with your own personal interests, things like: Sports, Music, Video Games, Dance, Food, Animals, Flowers, School, Fashion, etc. Please don't copy any of the examples I have below. Come up with your own unique words and projects, remember to keep the words between 4 and 8 letters.

The word above "color" is represented as a series of crayons. This one says, "Food." Don't put the word illustration A perfect representation of color! on your project please.

Here's another great one, It say "Crave" and features the foods the artist craves. The C is a mouth, the R is peices of bacon, the A is a burger, the V is ketchup and mustard and the E is fries. You can combine several things to create letters too. Don't think that you have to think of something that looks exactly like your letters. Be creative!
