6th Grade Art

FREE MONEY!!!!!

READ BELOW!!!!!

Hello students,

Sorry guys, no free money, but I had to write something to make you read this. The last project is due this Friday, June 12th at 3pm. I can't accept any work after that, so please make sure you turn it in on time. It's a smaller project so you should be able to get it to me by that date and time. I'm still accepting work you missed too. So if you look in powerschool and see missing projects, you can finish them and send them to me and you'll get full credit.

About the work still at school:

When we physically return to school next year, you can come down during the first two week to pick up anything that was left before school was cancelled. I'll be putting all of your work together as classes. Nothing has been thrown away. It will be available for you then.

I will be posting one project a week and you should spend 50 minutes on it. You are now required to complete the projects and lessons that are posted. I will require an image of the finished work to show me that you have completed it. Please try to take a good picture of your work from directly above if possible so that I can clearly see what you have done. Make sure that your first and last name appear at the bottom of the project. Send the image of the finished project to me at scott_petersen@wrsd.net no later than 3pm on the Friday of the week it was assigned.

The work will be graded as “meets expectations”, or “not meeting expectations”. Having been teaching art for over a decade now, I can tell fairly well if you have put in the 50 minutes of time on the project, so please give these projects the time, effort, and creativity they deserve. If you are unable to complete, or photograph these projects for any reason please let me know and I will coordinate with administration to resolve the issue. I will post the new projects on Monday, (or the next day if there is a holiday) at my website, and it will be due by 3 pm on that Friday. You can do the project anytime during the week and turn it in at any time as well. Don’t worry about what you don’t have at home regarding supplies, what you use will be pretty broad and I will stick with things most everybody has at home. My office hours are Monday through Friday, from 10am – 11am, and 2pm – 3pm. You can email me any questions and I will get back to you during those times. I understand that this is a difficult time for everybody and I will be keeping that in mind as you turn in your work. Please just try your best, that’s all I ask.

Best – Mr. Petersen
