Positive Words
This is the last project! I want to thank you all for your hard work during this tough time. I appreciate that you still gave me your best! This one will be a bit simpler, since it's the last one I'm going easy on you. During this difficult time, with the pandemic and the awful things happening in the streets, lets spread something more positive. I want you to think of someone that has helped you through this tough time, or other tough times; your Mom or Dad, step Mom, step Dad, brother, sister, Grandma, etc.
Here's what you will do:
1. Think of an encouraging or positive word. Try to keep it to just one word. There's a list below if you can't think of one.
2. On a postcard, or piece of paper the size of a postcard (3.5 by 5 inches, if you don't have one this size, you can use a ruler to measure and cut it out with scissors) you will draw your chosen word using block or bubble letters, just like we did with the graffiti names project. No LINE letters! Balance the word on the paper so it isn't too high or low, or too far to either side.
3. Fill the letters with designs, patterns, colors, etc. anything you want, but keep it positive!
4. Fully color in the words, designs and background.
5. Write an inspirational message on the back to the person you want to have this.
6. Take a picture of the finished word and send to scott_petersen@wrsd.net. Just the front with the word, you don't have to show me the message.
7. When finished, put the message where the person you want to give it to will find it. Somewhere they can't miss it.

Here's my example. It's small, only 3.5 x 5 inches. You can make a bigger one if you want, but don't have to. It's meant to be a short positive message to someone you care about. On the back, write something nice about them and put it somewhere they will find it.
