PARENT SUPPORT

This is how the school will send out many updates and where you will receive most of the forms that need to be signed AND how families can pay for most events, sports, pictures, student cards, etc.

Current WRDSB Families

• Make sure you have a current School Day account for your child's school as it will be transferred automatically to include their high school next year

Out of Board/Homeschooled Families

• Create an account by clicking here 

• Once you try to "Add a Student" you will need to call KCI (519)745-6851 ext. 5501 and request a "Match Key" to see your child's information in your account

This is where families will be able to see all transportation details for their child prior to the start of the school year.

All Families

• Make sure you have a current account at www.stswr.ca for your child as it will be where you find transportation details prior to the start of high school (usually August)

• At the bottom of our school website there is a spot to enter your email address and "Subscribe"

• By subscribing, you will receive updates whenever a post is made on the main site

• Your best way to not miss a thing

• Each of your child's teachers will have a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)

  • • Examples are D2L (Brightspace) and Google Classroom

• You could be connected as a guardian, but having your child log in to these sites regularly in the evenings will ensure you know what expectations are due, missing, or just what has been going on in the class

• Your child will also be part of a Guidance Google Classroom, which will be how the Guidance Department relays important information to our school population

• A way for parents to partner with the school

• Keep up to date on the latest school news and have your voice heard by staff members that directly support your student
