Children's Gallery

Description

The Children’s Gallery guides each homeroom class of children to create a collaborative art piece that is then auctioned for school fundraising purposes. Volunteers are sectioned into grades and each team decides on an art technique/medium.

Dates

January to April

Commitment

There will be a few  full group meetings (i.e. across all grades) in the late Fall and after the new year. The grade groups can meet or communicate as needed for their grade’s projects.

Volunteers will be required to purchase art supplies and frames as required (which are reimbursed). Prep work, storage and completing final touches to artwork is involved. One art block is assigned for each homeroom to create and finish their contribution to the art piece. Volunteers must be able to attend these 1-3 art blocks.
