Wolfpack Events

Description

We kick off the year with the Welcome Back Celebration: a school party that  typically features bouncy castles, food & beverages, and a “Parent Garden”, while catching up with new and old friends. The celebration happens after school, usually a Friday, in September. 

This committee is also responsible for planning and executing events throughout the year, the goal being to connect parents and children with the larger WPGA community. This could take the form of a movie & picnic night for younger grades in our upper gym or a rocking dance party!

Commitment

Welcome Back Celebration: set-up will start before school, goes throughout the day and ends around 5:30pm. Volunteers can assist in many areas throughout this time period: 

• Families can donate items (arranged with chairs during the summer) 

• Set-up/take down of bouncy castles and decor 

• Tables, food and beverage set-up

• Manage stations and replenish food & beverages during the event 

• Clean-up  

Other community events: shifts will be organized by the committee chairs to assist in planning, event set-up or take-down.
