City of Woburn Pride Month
Due to COVID 19, the proclamation of Woburn Pride 2020 had to be presented without a crowd.
On June 26, 2020, the Pride flag was cut down.
Within hours of seeing a post on social media, a group organized by Woburn resident Rina Mazor decorate the island where the Pride flag had flown. This amazing group of Woburn residents showed the city that LGBTQ+ people are welcome and loved.
Thank you Samantha Stone and the Woburn Public Media Channel for the opportunity to discuss the importance of Pride!
On June 30, the Pride flag was raised again!
Mayor Galvin ensured that the flag flew until mid July.
