Building a campus where systems serve students
Building a campus where systems serve students
By working closely with the Department of Finance, we will continue to expand fair funding practices, increase accessibility campus-wide, and improve efficiency, enabling OBAC (Organizational Budget Allocation Committee) to allocate and distribute funds in a timely manner.
We understand that the allocation process can be frustrating, especially if your organization is not allocated the funding it requires for operations. We will work to make sure expectations that often result in a loss of funding are outlined to RSO’s and work with these RSO’s to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
We know just how many surveys you are asked to complete throughout the course of a semester via email. We want to work directly with the Department of Data & Analytics to workshop creative ways that the department can obtain necessary data outside of the overused email surveys.
Our administration will work with the Department of Data & Analytics to acquire and utilize data that identifies underused academic resources, gaps in accessibility, and who is being left out of programming and events. This data will help our administration highlight areas of our campus community that could use improving.
Because every student contributes to the Student Activities Fee, our administration will prioritize funding that benefits the greatest number of students and strengthens the campus community as a whole. By delegating funds to OBAC (Organizational Budget Allocation Committee), AMP (Alma Mater Productions), Graduate Council, and Media Council, we will ensure that every student benefits from their Student Activities Fee.
