The primary goals of counseling and guidance at Gill Hall & McClellan Elementary Schools are designed to meet the developmental needs of all students in the educational system so they can achieve their maximum potential. Some of the services that are provided to all students include:

• Classroom Presentations (focus on student’s social/emotional, academic and career needs)

• Group Counseling (ex. friendship, worry/anxiety management, social skills, and grief)

• Brief Solution-Focused Individual Counseling

• Community Resource Referrals

• Parent & Teacher Consultation

• Student Assistance Program Team Member

• Serve as Liaison to Community Agencies

• Manage building 504 Service Agreements
