What are tutors' expected roles & responsibilities?

Pay attention to the tutor's behavior and take notes on what the tutor did well and what they could have done differently in each scenario. Reflect on the tutor's actions and how they align with their expected roles and responsibilities.
Engage in a class discussion using the guiding questions given below.

1. Effective tutor behavior
"In the scenario, identify the actions taken by the tutor that align with their expected roles and responsibilities as a tutor in the higher education space. Explain why you consider these actions as effective."
2. Improvement opportunities
"While the tutor demonstrated some effective behaviors, identify areas where the tutor's actions could be improved in terms of fulfilling their roles and responsibilities. Provide specific suggestions for improvement."
3. Role-based analysis
"Consider the roles and responsibilities we have discussed. Which specific roles did the tutor perform well in, and which ones could be enhanced? How do these align with what we've learned?"
4. Reflective tutoring
"As a tutor, how would you reflect on your own practice after watching this scenario? What insights can you gain from the tutor's actions (positive and areas for growth), in relation to your tutoring responsibilities?"
