Week 2 Graded assessments
There is 1 graded assessment this week: Group presentations (LO2,LO6)
In this group assignment, you will work collaboratively in groups of 3 to explore real-world tutoring scenarios and present possible solutions. Your task is to analyse your given scenario and think about how tutorials can address the challenges outlined. This assignment aims to help you analyze and discuss the purpose of tutorials in improving students' learning outcomes, and weighs 20 marks (due date to be confirmed).
Instructions:
In groups, you will be assigned one of the five tutoring scenarios provided in the Jamboard. Click on the link and navigate to your assigned scenario.
In your groups, discuss the scenario and answer the guiding questions. I encourage you to think critically about the potential impact of tutorials on the students' success in the scenario.
After a set amount of time for discussion, each group must summarize their findings and analysis in a short presentation (you can use slides, Jamboard, or other visual aids to illustrate your points). This should be a shared effort, with each group member contributing to the presentation.
