The following instructions are intended for Event Administrators. This feature is useful for situations in which data collected for a base survey question (or questions) is not necessary to include in the event report. For instance, if you have questions related to demographics and training satisfaction in a base survey but want to generate an event survey report that only includes the data on training satisfaction, then this feature will allow you to do so.
Visit www.cimerprojectportal.org and log in using the username and password provided in the email from your Project Administrator.
Navigate to the Survey Management page by selecting “My Surveys” > “Survey Management”. The Survey Management page will show all the events to which your email has been assigned as an Event Administrator.
Locate the Event and survey for which you would like to exclude base survey questions from the report and select the Edit Icon next to the survey.
Select “Exclude Core Questions from Report”.
From the list of base survey questions, select the checkbox to the right of each question that you want to exclude from the report.
Note: This feature is only available for base survey questions. All customized or curated questions must be included in reports.
Once you have selected each of the base survey questions that you want to exclude from the report, scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Confirm Selections”.
Note: The questions that are excluded from the report will still appear in raw data CSVs.
If you decide that you want to include questions that have previously been excluded from reports, once again select “Exclude Core Questions from Report”, uncheck each question that you want to include in the report, and select “Confirm Selections”.
Note: You may not edit this feature once a survey has been closed.
