Welcome to the Willow Room

Welcome to the Willow Room, our Two’s classroom! For many of our children, this may be their first experience being dropped off at school and spending time away from their families. It is completely developmentally appropriate for this transition to come with big feelings. Each child will adjust and acclimate in their own time, and we will meet them with patience, consistency, and lots of reassurance as they begin to feel safe and secure in their new environment. Building trust and a sense of belonging takes time, and we are honored to be part of that journey.

In the Willow Room, play is our universal language. Our days are thoughtfully designed around opportunities for children to explore, discover, connect, and build relationships with their educators and classmates. Through sensory experiences, art, movement, stories, music, and open-ended play, children will begin to learn the rhythms of the classroom while developing a strong sense of community. Above all, we want each child to feel known, supported, and excited to discover what awaits them each day.
