Ancient World History starts from the creation of the world and goes through the dark ages. Students learn about early civilizations as well as world religions.
Modern World History starts at the Renaissance and goes through the 20th century. Modern World History also has a geography focus.
American History takes students from the Native Americans through the 20th century, with the focus being the founding and settling of our country as well as the trials and tribulations faced along the way.
Government takes students through the different types of governing instituions with a focus on American democracy. Students learn how the government runs and how they can impact it. Economics teaches the economic cycle and a student's role in it.
I am Mrs. Kindred and I will be teaching World History and Government this year. This is my 9th year teaching at WCA and my 2nd year teaching History. I am married and have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. I am excited to see what God has for all of us this year.
