"CORE COURSES" are classes which have been deemed essential by the State of Maine and/or Windham Christian Academy for students to have the base knowledge needed to pursue their God's calling using their God given gifts. These include English Language Arts (ELA), history, math, science, foreign language, and, at Windham Christian Academy, Bible.

"NON-CORE COURSES" include those which have not necessarily been deemed required by the State of Maine, but  Windham Christian Academy feel are important options to offer to allow students to have a rounded high school educational experience and to assist them in being properly prepared to pursue God's calling on their lives. These courses are provided by WCA or offered through their partner sites.
