This is Mrs. Cartwrightʼs twelfth year in D39 and her seventeenth year teaching. She received a B.A. in Spanish Literature and Communication Studies from the University of Kansas. After deciding to pursue her passion and change careers, she completed her Master of Science in Education while participating in the Kansas City Teaching Fellows program. She achieved National Board Teacher Certification in 2012. She taught first grade for nine years, was a reading intervention specialist for one year, and has been teaching fourth grade for the past six years.
Mrs. Cartwright enjoys being outdoors, reading, traveling, cooking, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family. She has been married for fifteen years. She and her husband have two children and live in Glenview.

Maria Collins is a seasoned educator with over 20 years of experience in Wilmette District 39. She earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and a Master’s Degree from National Louis University. Maria enjoys barre fitness classes, cheering on the Wildcats, reading, yoga, and spending time with family. She is excited to bring her passion for fourth grade to her remote learning class, and establish meaningful relationships with students and families.

This is Jamie’s 5th year working in D39 and 12th year of teaching. Jamie earned her bachelor’s degree, in Elementary Education, with a focus in Social Studies and Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University in 2008. She also earned her master’s degree in Educational Media and Technology from Eastern Michigan University in 2013. Before moving to Illinois, she had been teaching in Michigan! While teaching in Michigan, Jamie taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, & 8th grade. She is very passionate about working with children and loves working with the families, students, and staff at Romona. In December 2018, Mrs. Parker’s family grew! She and her husband had their 1st baby, Maverick! They love spending cuddle time with him and creating new memories too! In their free time, they also enjoy Michigan sports, movies, traveling, CrossFit, and spending time with their two fur-babies (Meeko & Oscar)! Mrs. Parker is looking forward to meeting her new fourth graders!

Anne has been working in the educational field for 20 years. This is her 9th year at Central School in Wilmette. She grew up in Evanston, received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and History from Beloit College, and her masters degree in elementary education from National Louis University. Anne lives in Skokie with her husband, her two kids (Archie, age 9, Ellie age 6), dog (Bailey) and cat (Brookie). Anne loves all thing Spanish language and Latinx culture related, the US Women’s National Soccer Team, and good food and friends.
