This course is open to students in grades 10-12 and requires teacher approval.

Theatre Arts

Visual Arts

Visual Arts Beginning Course Code: 54152X0B This course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts and styles of art. Students will explore various media and techniques to build a solid artistic foundation. No prior drawing or artistic experience is needed.

Visual Arts Advanced Honors Course Code: 54185X0A This is the most advanced course offered in visual arts. Students will engage in an in-depth study of medium, composition, and technique, preparing them for advanced art programs and portfolios. This course is for 12th-grade students.

Vocal Music

Concert Choir Course Code: 52392X0CCI This course is for all students in grades 9-12 with a passion for singing. Students will sing a wide variety of repertoire, from classical to contemporary pop music. The curriculum includes instruction in basic vocal technique, music theory, and sight-singing skills. Students are expected to participate in approximately six performances per year outside of class.

Vocal Music Advanced Honors (Northlanders) Course Code: 52335XOA This is an audition-based honors course for students in grades 9-12. Students will perform advanced-level repertoire and engage in a more rigorous study of music. The Northlanders choir performs at approximately six to eight events per year, both within and outside the community. A uniform is required. Audition Required

Piano Course Code: 52162X0AB This course is designed for beginning piano students. Students will learn fundamental music theory and piano techniques, with a focus on both group instruction and individual practice time. The curriculum is tailored to each student's skill level. Enrollment is limited to 15 students.
