Final-HISS-2019-Brochure.pdfFrom July -August of 2018 I traveled to Seoul, South Korea to participate in Hanyang University's International Summer School Program. There I enrolled in 3 classes for a total of 9 credits to be transferred back to my home school, Wilkes University. The classes I was enrolled in include: Traditional Korean Fan Dance, Microeconomics, and Korean Language 1. I also participated in various school activities and classes outside of school including a Hip Hop dance class at 1XMillion Dance Studio with the instructor Koosung Jung. At the end of the program I was named the 2018 HISS class representative and received the official Diploma from the president of Hanyang University Kim Wooseung.
On July 8, 2018 I spent the day at Gyeongbokung palace with my parents whp happened to be in South Korea for a conference. This was a special day for me as it is also the anniversary of my adoption.

As a dancer it has always been a dream to challenge myself and dance at a famous studio and I was lucky to get the chance to dance at 1XMILLION hip hop dance studio in Gangnam with Koosung Jung as my instructor. This was a milestone I won't soon forget.

During my trip I found that in South Korea there are a multitude of animal cafes where you can spend time and make little furry friends. It is an experience I will always remember as filled with joy.
