We have had another fantastic week in Pine Class.
Just a quick reminder that PE and Forest School days have now swapped - PE is now on a Wednesday and Forest School is on a Friday. Please continue to encourage your child to have a go with their homework, little and often works best. 📝

During our English lessons this week we have been reading Katie in London, we have explored London landmarks and different facts about London.
The children will continue to learn more about London as a Capital City, and the importance of the city.
We will even have a go at sketching out Big Ben. We cannot wait to share their final pieces with you.

The expectations for homework are as follows:
Reading 3 x a week, please sign the children's reading diaries.
Maths fluency sheet
Weekly Spelling's- Spelling tests will be on a Friday.
We have been chanting our two times tables this week and the children are doing brilliantly, feel free to share this with them and see if they can answer along in a rap.

Our PE day is Wednesday Children can wear PE kit on Wednesdays and we go to Forest School on a Friday afternoon. (Children must bring in forest school kit- Wellies are needed as we head into the wetter months)
Please make sure your child has the appropriate kit and clothing for these days! If the weather is on our side we will be doing our PE outside whenever possible so it is increasingly important that your child has the appropriate kit.
