Hurricane of 1938

The Hurricane of 1938, also called the Great New England Hurricane or the Long Island Express, hit Connecticut on September 9, 1938.  It's one of the most powerful hurricanes to hit New England.  The hurricane cost over $306 million dollars in property damages.
