Students enjoyed one of my favorite children's books: Oh No George! In the story, George eats an entire cake and leaves nothing left for his owner, Harry! We decided we would create a slice of cake for Harry out of a series of shapes. The students did an amazing job!
Students learned about architecture after reading Iggy Peck Architect and created a cityscape which we then turned into the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!
Kindergarteners had so much to say when we looked at Paul Klee's "Red Bridge" and Castle paintings to prepare for their own house and castle collages!
