Dear Members, Potential Members, and Students:
This summer, the Board of Directors of the Chief Justice Joseph Branch Inn of Court met to discuss the Inn’s future, particularly in light of ongoing membership and attendance challenges since the COVID-19 pandemic. Member Ron Davis has agreed to chair a subcommittee that will, among other tasks, work with the American Inns of Court to align—and potentially restructure—our Inn to better meet the needs and expectations of members in today’s educational and social climate. We remain committed to the Inn’s mission of advancing the rule of law by promoting the highest standards of professionalism through example, education, and mentoring. As part of this process, the Board has decided that the Inn will pause meetings for this academic year while we thoughtfully plan for the future.
Thank you for your continued support and interest in the Inn, which remains as vital as ever. We welcome any thoughts, ideas, or feedback you may have as we chart our course ahead.
Kevin G. Williams
Immediate Past President
