Narrative Writing
Our task is to write a narrative about an imaginary expedition.
Imagine someone going on a treasure hunt to an island. Who is going? What kind of island is the character going? How is the character getting there? What things will your character choose to take and why? What problems might your character face?
Your writing needs to include:
FOUR paragraphs, each containing 5 to 8 sentences.
Paragraph 1 will be about setting the scene of your story. Describe and explain WHO is going, WHERE and WHY they are going.
Paragraph 2 will be about the essential tools your character will need and why they need to bring them.
Paragraph 3 will be about some challenges your character might face and how they will overcome them.
Paragraph 4 will be about what happens at the end of the expedition. Does your character find the treasure? How do they find it?
Write your draft copy in your writing book, proofread and make adjustments, get TWO buddies to read it, then get your teacher to check it. Publish this to your blog
