Tuakana Teina

Tuakana Teina is an integral part of Maoritanga. It is a buddy system of an older or more expert tuakana (brother or sister) helps a younger teina (brother or sister of the same gender).

Throughout the year our focus will be about "building relationships". Relationships with our: teachers, our peers, those that are younger and older than us. Relationships with people.

Our Teina class is Room 12 with Mr Lloyd. We have scheduled to have activities every fortnight on a Friday afternoon.
