Tuakana Teina

Tuakana Teina is an integral part of Maoritanga. It is a buddy system of an older or more expert tuakana (brother or sister) helps a younger teina (brother or sister of the same gender).

Throughout the year our focus will be about "building relationships". Relationships with our: teachers, our peers, those that are younger and older than us. Relationships with people.
