PGL TRIP COMING UP FOR YEAR 10 FRENCH STUDENTS!
The focus of the AQA’s GCSE in Fenchis the development of real-life language skills based on authentic-style tasks and situations. This will enable learners to develop their ability and ambition to communicate with native speakers in speech and writing. This approach encourages learners to step beyond familiar cultural boundaries, to broaden their horizons and develop new ways of seeing the world.

During the examination period at the end of Year 11, students will take part in a Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing Exam. Each exam will be worth 25% of the total marks. Students will be entered into either the higher or the foundation tier for all exams. No mixed tiering is allowed. They are not allowed to use a dictionary. There is no coursework or controlled assessment for this course.
