What will I be learning?
BTEC Level 2 Music Practice - specification
Component 2: Music Skills Development (60 marks and internally assessed- 30% of total GCSE)- Students will demonstrate professional and commercial skills for the music industry and apply development processes for music skills and techniques.
Component 3: Responding to a Music Brief (60 marks and externally assessed- 40% of total GCSE) - Students will respond to the brief either as a music creator and producer or as a music creator and performer. The brief will consist of a scenario that will include a list of 10 pieces of music from a range of styles that the learners have covered in Component 1. They will be required to use one of these in their final product.

Choir - join the extracurricular activity of Choir on Thursdays if you enjoy singing and working with others.Â
