Post-16 options

During Year 11, you will be applying for your post-16 options. You will submit an application to Westminster Academy where you can list your first choice as the IBDP, the IBCP or to study elsewhere. Your main post-16 options are listed below and include links to provide you with more information on what they involve:

Subject-based qualifications such as:

• The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), which you can study at Westminster Academy. The entry requirements for this are five 6s at GCSE level including English Language and Mathematics and some additional requirements for higher levels.

• A levels

Work-related qualifications such as:

• The International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP), which you can study at Westminster Academy. The entry requirements for this are five 5s at GCSE level including English Language and Mathematics. If you would like to study Applied Science, you will need to achieve a 5-5 in Combined Science, or 5s in at least two single Sciences.

• T Levels

Working while studying

• Traineeships

• Apprenticeships
