Year 7 Geography
During your time in Year 7 you will discover the continents of Europe, Australasia and South America. You will cover a range of topics which will help you to answer the following three enquiry questions:
How effectively is Europe addressing its challenges? (Term 1 + 2)
How have Australasian societies adapted to cope with extreme environments? (Term 3 + 4)
How has inequality impacted the development of South American countries? (Term 5 + 6)

Year 8 Geography

Year 9 Geography
During your time in Year 9 you will discover the important geographical regions of: The Middle East, Central America, Antarctica and the Arctic and Russia You will cover a range of topics which will help you to answer the following enquiry questions:
How does the geography of the Middle East influence its success? (Term 1 + 2)
How do Central American countries fulfil the concept of sustainability? (Term 3)
Why should cold environments be protected? (Term 4)
Is the geography of Russia a curse or blessing? (Term 5)
Fieldwork: How polluted is our playground? (Term 6)
You will also get a chance in Term 6 to practise geographical skills and to plan and conduct your own geographical fieldwork investigation.
