Students will establish an understanding of the 7 formal elements of Art through experimentation of natural forms. Each week students will be introduced to a new formal element of art to create a guided experimental project inspired by Nature. Students will experience observational drawing, explore drawing techniques and develop mark-making skills that will be used to express creativity within their sketchbooks.

To understand how to capture expression in portraiture through understanding facial anatomy through observation, analysis, application, while also gaining insight to unique physical characteristics that define the sports persons identity.
