SEPTEMBER 22ND
Advisory
This week in Advisory, we started on a letter to our 8th grade self. The letters that students write will be given back to them towards the end of their 8th grade year! It's going to be fun for students to see in what ways they've changed and what ways they've stayed the same!
We also learned more about the country we will be representing for next Friday's Olympic Triathlon! We will be representing Norway. Ask your child some of the facts they remember from our lesson on Thursday!
Here are some photos from today's spirit day: Sports Day!
Odds and Ends
Christina Eick is our Advisory's WAVE ambassador! Earlier this week she sent out an email introducing herself and shared out ways families can donate for our Advisory's Fall Basket! Thank you to the families that have already donated to our "Light the Beam" theme basket!
Olympic Triathlon: Next Friday, September 22nd
Students will be traveling with their Advisory for the Olympic Triathlon activities! For this event, we want 6th graders to show their grade-level pride! All 6th graders are welcome to wear GREEN next Friday!
