We reflected on our 6th grade year and students wrote their final comment and social-emotional marks to wrap up trimester 3!
We also got to spend quality time with ALL of 6th grade watching Big Hero 6 on Friday in the 8th grade flex space!

Field Day permission slips are due on Tuesday, May 28th! Permission slips went home last week!

Memorial Day – NO SCHOOL:
On Monday, May 27th, in honor of Memorial Day, Westlake Charter School and BASE will be closed.
Infinite Campus Parent Portal:
In August, we will be sharing middle school and high school schedules via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. They will not be individually emailed, they will only be released in the portal. To make sure you will have access to this information, please take the following actions:

Front Street Animal Shelter Donation Drive:
Our Middle School Elective, Community Giving, is supporting Front Street Animal Shelter by hosting a donation drive. Would you like to help animals in need? If so, please consider joining our Middle School Explorers by donating new and gently used items, such as cat and dog food, blankets, towels, and pet toys. This donation drive runs through Friday, May 31st. Donated items may be dropped off in your grade level flex space. For more information, please contact Mrs. Hubbard at shubbard@westlakecharter.com.
K-8 Field Day:

Families, we need your help! This year, June 4th will be a free dress day and each grade level will represent their grade level by wearing a different colored t-shirt. Please see below for what color shirt to have your child wear that day!
