November 17th

Advisory

It was great getting to sit down and talk about how the first trimester of 6th grade has been for your child! 6th graders had so much to be proud of and to celebrate!

Have a fantastic Thanksgiving Break!

Odds and Ends

Westlake News

Attendance:

We hope you all have a fantastic break! As we gear up to return from Thanksgiving break, we want to give you a heads-up about a crucial time for attendance.

For our K-8 kiddos, this marks the kick-off of the second trimester of learning. We can't stress enough how vital it is for your student to be in school, especially if they're healthy. Missing out can have a ripple effect on their academics and social-emotional well-being. It could even impact their journey to graduating on time from High School.

To add some fun to December, we're turning attendance into a celebration! Introducing "Here for the Hot Cocoa!" The grade levels with the highest average attendance from 11/27 to 12/21 will receive an exclusive Hot Cocoa party after Winter Break. Let's make attendance a fun thing together!

Chili Cook-Off:

We are excited for the upcoming and always popular Chili Cook-Off on Wednesday, November 29th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM on our  K-8 campus. We invite every family to come sample chili and vote for their favorite!  All of our families are a part of making the Chili Cook Off a success.  See below for details about how each grade level is participating.
