Una Semana Loca
¡UNA SEMANA LOCA! A CRAZY WEEK!
Spanish 1 weather project
With a partner, create a weeklong weather report to present to the class. Be prepared to ask and answer questions about your forecast, as well as other classmates’ projects.
You and your partner will earn the same grade on the visual, but separate grades on the content & pronunciation.
Visual – create a weather broadcast showing the weather for seven days of the week.
The visual must be LARGE enough for the entire class to read when shown
Use plenty of color.
Include pictures of the weather for each day of the week.
Write ONLY the month, the date (number), the days of the week and the temperature on your visual. The rest will be spoken in your broadcast.
2. Presentation – Prepare & include the following content related to the weather in your presentation, but do NOT write it anywhere on your visual.
2 weather expression(s) for each day of the week (hace frío, no hay nubes, hace poco sol). EACH student will present each day of the week to the class. Include the day, the date, 2 weather expressions, and the temperature.
This will be a recorded weather forecast video using a green screen. Please plan accordingly so that everything you need is ready on the day you need to record. DON'T WEAR GREEN!!
3. Pronunciation & participation
Use correct pronunciation and accentuation when speaking in your video.
Be well-prepared (avoid long hesitations).
No reading from a page – you must present your weather chart using off-screen notes or a teleprompter
You need to know how to pronounce and answer each of the following example style questions:
¿Qué tiempo hace day/date?
¿Qué mes es?
¿Qué temperatura hace el miércoles?
¿Cuál es tu estación favorita?
¿Cuál es la fecha de lunes?
¿Hace calor el martes? ¿Llueve el domingo?
