Send your child with a full change of clothes. The clothes should be in a bag labeled with your child's name. The clothes should be appropriate for the season. Diapers or pull-ups(if needed) for at least a week at a time along with wipes, underwear and socks should be included. Students need to attend school wearing sneakers on the days they participate in physical education. We will not change them into sneakers on the day of their assigned class.

Your child must bring a backpack with a folder to school each day. Please check your child's backpack each night for important notices and class work. The backpacks with wheels do not fit in our cubbies. If possible please have your child use the carry style that is big enough to fit a letter size piece of paper.

School Closings and Delays...... Regularly scheduled school days may be cancelled or delayed due to snow or other unsafe conditions to staff and students. When school is cancelled, the district ‘s emergency messaging system will notify parents. Announcements will also be broadcast on: www.westfieldnjk12.org .

4-Hour Session:...... When the school district announces a 4-hr session, the following schedule will be followed at Lincoln School: AM Pre-K 8:30 - 10:30, PM Pre-K 10:30 - 12:30.
