Look What’s Happening in our Classroom:

All about our class: This week we continued our Gardening Unit: We answered the question: What grows in a garden.  Throughout the week we identified gardening tools, talked about farmers, and items we can grow in a garden.. During math we created shapes, we matched fruit and vegetable shapes, and used geo boards. We practiced the letters j & l  this week.  We also reviewed the lifecycle of a butterfly.

Help From Parents

At home, try using directional words to play “Hot/Cold.” Hide items in a room. Have your child follow your positional words d to find the item: forward, back, right, left, up, down, zigzag, high, low, etc. If your child moves correctly, say, “you are getting warm or you are hot.” If your child moves incorrectly, say, “you are getting colder.” Then repeat the direction word. Have fun!
