Lincoln School birthday celebrations will take place on or close to your child’s birthday. Summer birthdays will be celebrated during the month of June.

• Children will be given a small token birthday gift such as a birthday crown, pencil, sticker, or bookmark and the class will sing “Happy Birthday” to your child.

• Teachers will also read a special book to the class in honor of your child’s birthday.

• Please do not send in any special food. Children will eat their regular snack on that day.

Give the Gift of Reading

If you would like to celebrate your child’s birthday with a Gift of Reading, please send in a gift wrapped book to your child’s teacher on his/her birthday. A special birthday bookplate will be attached to the inside cover of your donated book in commemoration of this very special event.
