Welcome to Kindergarten!  Here is a little more information about myself.  I have an undergraduate degree from Miami University and am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree through Ashland University with a degree in Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century.  I am licensed to teach PK-3 in all subjects and Reading (K-12). I have a passion for literacy and have a desire that all children become excited about reading. My husband and I have two children; Matthew (Eighth grade) and Maci ( Seventh grade).  We also have a dog named Buzz and a cat named Woody.  I have previously taught reading, Second and Third Grade and preschool. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children play sports and participate in plays.  I enjoy traveling, reading, exploring museums and finding new places to eat. I have been sky diving, participated in the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Fiesta and ran the Columbus Half Marathon. Life is an adventure and I believe in embracing and enjoying each moment. I am so excited to work with your children this year!
