Hello! My name is Amy Wideman. I have been teaching at Wilder for 22 years. I previously taught kindergarten, and am now loving my time in first grade. I received my bachelors from Otterbein, and my Masters in Literacy from Ashland. At home I spend my time chasing around my 3 sons, Bryant, Camden, and Grant. My husband and I have a love for Golden Retrievers, and enjoy spending time with our two pups, Cargo and Bearcat!

Classroom Expectations
In the classroom I work very to have clear expectations for the students, they should feel successful in routine for academics and behavior. After much discussion and re-wording (keep our hands to ourselves vs no hitting), these are the agreed upon expectations. Each student then signed and decorated a name plate, agreeing to be upheld to these routines.
