Today you will complete Fahrenheit 451 by reading Part III: Burning Bright. The last section of Fahrenheit 451 chronicles Montag’s complete change. He burns Beatty and escapes the city after warning Faber, who helps Montag find a group of homeless intellectuals hiding in the woods. War is declared, and life as Montag once knew it is destroyed. The leader of the group welcomes Montag to a new life and explains that they are mentally storing great books that have been destroyed so they can help humanity be revived from the ashes.
