Employee Referral Program
Governing Board Approved Employee Referral Program Guidelines:
· This program will reward qualified active employees up to $500.00 per employee (applicant) recommended to the district that are hired and maintain employment with the district (see details below):
o The applicant must put the active employee’s first and last name on the application that referred them
o $250.00 for recommending employees to the district that are hired and maintain employment with the district for three (3) consecutive months
o An additional $250.00 if the new employee is still employed for six (6) consecutive months (summer recess months and/or days not included)
o The referral program will be available to active employees with the exception of Human Resources Staff and the Superintendent's Cabinet members
To be eligible for the referral stipend the applicant/individual being referred must be a new employee to WESD. However, the applicant/individual being referred can be a rehire provided there is a break in service.
Individuals being referred for Substitute Teacher positions are not eligible.
Substitute Teachers are not eligible.
Temporary Positions are not eligible.
