During the summer holidays and coronavirus pandemic of 2020, My friends and I went ice skating. This was the first time I had gone ice skating and I was really scared. I had never been ice skating and I thought it looked easy to skate. However, when I stepped on the ice, I fell flat on my face. I fell many times after that and was about to give up when my friends tried teaching me how to ice skate. I tried to follow their methods and actually got it! Sadly, we had stayed for nearly 2 hours and we were going to leave. I did not want to leave without skating one round without holding the sides or falling and I did it! That's when this picture was taken. I was so happy that I had successfully managed to ice skate. I discovered that if I give up fast, I would not be able to achieve anything.
