For the ASL Club, the leaders were looking for a way to entertain everyone during online school and also help them recap what they learned over the past few weeks. I decided to help them creating a Kahoot game.
Creating this game was challenging at first as I did not know how to make one, however, I started trying and found that it was quite easy to make. While I was presenting, I started to notice that the time limit was too little and for the next games I was going to create in other classes, I kept that in mind.
In ASL, the club leaders wanted to make a video for the yearbook on each topics and asked for volunteers to participate in these videos. I chose to participate in the Fruits video. We were all appointed a certain word and we needed to sign that word.
This activity helped me recall most of the words and also helped me get over my fear of being recorded. I was quite nervous at first but then slowly got used to it.

While being under lockdown in 2020 and 2021, I started taking pictures of the sky daily until we were allowed to go out again. After we went out, I started taking pictures of the places I visited to make new memories and try something new!
At First, the pictures did not come out well, it took a lot of time to focus on things or people as it would move, after practicing a lot, I could easily take pictures of people and animals.

Although I am not a very artistic person, I volunteered to make a poster for the ASL club to sell items at the CAS showcase. I had actually forgotten to make this poster and was reminded the night before that I needed to complete it which made me rush through it. Even though it did not turn out the way I wanted, I managed to complete it and it was set up at the booth too.

(please excuse the bad recording)
During our winter vacation, my family and I chose to go to India. Sadly, we all caught Covid-19 while we were there, so we couldn't go back to Bangkok like we wanted to. While I was stuck at home, I wanted to do something to pass the time, so I decided to try making a dreamcatcher. I was a bit nervous because I had never done it before, but I gave it a go.
The dreamcatcher pictured above represents my third attempt, and I believe it turned out rather well considering my lack of experience. I feel a sense of accomplishment, and I am even considering making more dreamcatchers in the future when I have spare time.

For the CAS showcase of class of 2022, my friends and I decided to make brownies as part of the ASL club. Although we baked quite a few brownies and it turned out to be a success, we faced some difficulties. Since we made brownies from scratch and were missing a few ingredients, the brownies were not cooking quickly and we were afraid that if we increased the temperature of the brownies, they would burn. To overcome this challenge, we decided that we should try substituting the ingredients. After researching, we found some substitutes and we made the brownies really well.

Participating in a math competition was quite an eye-opening experience for me. Even though I am not the strongest in math, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try to participate in a math competition just for fun. I worked with a random partner for this competition and it was quite fun as some of the questions were very difficult and both my partner and I were completely lost, but we managed to pull though with some of the mathematical skills we possessed and won second place in the grade 9-10 division and first in the winners round! This competition taught me many things, such as resilience as well as teamwork in order to win first place in this challenge!
