Members of the WMS choirs have worked hard to continue creating, performing, and responding to music during this unprecedented time. In place of our usual Spring Concerts, we are proud to share with you some of the products of our remote learning classroom. You will hear and see virtual choirs, community inspired playlists, student reflections, and student art.
The Chorus Concert Website also affords us a unique way to share with our audience a bit of the typically hidden magic of our ensembles: our process. You'll hear improved Virtual Choirs from all groups based on practice plans designed from singer feedback. You will see how the choirs connect to the repertoire, learning about composers and song style. We've even shared some of our arranging experimentation with the 6th graders' harmony project.
We are so proud of our singers and the dedication they've shown while engaging in this challenging learning environment. We miss making music together and helping our adolescent singers navigate their new voices while providing opportunities to build confidence and relationships. We miss the special communities each little class has created, with all the smiles and struggles inherent in a vibrant, caring learning environment. Take care, everybody, and thanks for visiting our Chorus Concert Website!
Much Love,
Connors & Stark
