Usernames & Passwords

Usernames and passwords are synced across all platforms.

A students' password is their KAMAR Web Portal password. Any teacher can look in KAMAR and check for them. This password is also how a student logs in at any printer.

To login to any WEGC PC, Wifi, PaperCut, AccessIT and the KAMAR Web Portal, a student uses firstname.lastname

e.g. Hermione Granger becomes hermione.granger

Note: any hyphens are changed to fullstops

e.g. Catherine Zeta-Jones becomes catherine.z.jones

Note: any double barrelled surnames get shortened to their initial

e.g. Chloe Grace-Moretz becomes chloe.g.moretz

Note: any apostrophes are removed

e.g. Auli'i Cravalho becomes aulii.cravalho

Note: there may be a numeral added if the username is not unique

e.g. Emma Stone may become emma.stone.1

To log in to Google Drive, GMail and any WEGC Chromebook COW's, a student uses username@student.wegc.school.nz

e.g. Hermione Granger becomes hermione.granger@student.wegc.school.nz

e.g. Catherine Zeta-Jones becomes catherine.z.jones@student.wegc.school.nz

e.g. Chloe Grace-Moretz becomes chloe.g.moretz@student.wegc.school.nz
