HOW TO Print - BYOD

Printing has changed in 2021.  

You will no longer be receiving a large list of all the printers at the school, you will be only printing to Secure FollowMe. With Secure FollowMe, you can go to ANY printer and release your printing, without the hassle of remembering each printers name/location.

Printing Using Your BYOD

Depending on the type of device you have (Windows, Apple or Chromebook) you will need to add the printer to your device a slightly different way. Below are links on how to install the FollowMe printer on each type of device.

These have step by step instructions on how to install it. You will need to be on the school network to add the printer to your device, and you will need an admin password for your computer. If you are the only user on your device, you are the admin.

• iOS Device (iPhone or iPad)

• Android Device

• Chromebook

Once you have 'Secure FollowMe' installed on your device, it will show up in the list of printers you can use. Print as you normally would and select 'Secure FollowMe' as the print destination.

I'm at a printer, now what?

You need to release your documents from the printer itself, you can do this at any school printer. Below is a video to show you how to release your printing from any printer in the school.

In summary, once you have installed the 'Secure FollowMe' printer on your device, you just need to print to Secure FollowMe, go to any printer, scan your student Id to log in, and release your printing.
