Ticket information
To access the event you will need to download our Web Summit app.
Once you've logged in to the app (using the login details in your objectives email), your ticket QR code can be found under the ‘Scan’ tab in the app dock.
You do not need a printed ticket. Just bring your government-approved photo ID along with you and you will be good to go during registration.
You can collect your accreditation onsite at Main Registration at Riocentro from Sunday June 7. Opening hours here and on the Web Summit app.
Media have a dedicated priority queue into Main Registration so you don’t have to queue with other attendees. Look for the entrance that says ‘Investor, Platinum Investor, VIP & Media’.
Travelling by your own car: Access attendee parking via Gate A
Uber & taxi drop-off / pick-up point: Main registration accessed via Gate A
Pedestrian access: Gate B

Registration will be open during the following hours:
Sunday June 7: 12-6pm
Monday June 8: 12-9pm
Tuesday June 9: 7.30-5pm
Wednesday June 10: 7.30-5pm
Thursday June 11: 7.30-4.45pm
Luggage and large bags must be checked into the bag drop & cloakroom, which is located beside Main registration, at the west side of Riocentro.
Small bags are permitted into the venue.
By State law (Law nr. 2.526/96), armed persons are not allowed to enter the event venue. Attendees carrying firearms must store them securely in gun lockers, located outside Main registration, before entering the event venue.

As a media attendee, you will be provided with free access to the event. You can also attend press conferences and you can arrange meetings and interviews with speakers, partners, startups, and investors.
Unfortunately, we can only give press passes to editorial staff. Please note: Applications for media accreditation are subject to our media accreditation policy.
Each attendee must have a unique ticket to attend Web Summit. Your ticket allows single access to the mobile and web apps. If you share your access link with another person, they will be asked to log in with their own personal ticket information.
No. Each ticket is valid to be used by one person only for the duration of the event.
As specified in our terms and conditions, you cannot sell your Web Summit ticket. Tickets found to have been resold will be voided and the owner will be denied entry. This also applies to our subsidised tickets, such as women in tech and developer tickets.
We don’t offer one-day full-attendee tickets. All full-attendee tickets are valid for the duration of the event.
