If speakers, investors, partners and startups are announcing something newsworthy at Web Summit Rio, they’ll provide us with a link to their press release that we can distribute to members of the media at the event.
Links to press releases will be listed here on our website, which you’ll be able to visit during the event to discover the latest news announced at Web Summit Rio.

What is the press conference area like at Web Summit Rio?
The press conference stage is a private space located in the Media Village. The stage, arranged in a theatre-style configuration, will include designated seating for media. There is a dedicated space for journalists, television cameras, videographers and photographers.

Our press conference schedule goes live around two weeks before the event.

Yes! Web Summit Rio has a dedicated press conference facility at the event.
The press conference area operates each day of Web Summit Rio and typically press conferences take place directly after a speaker’s appearance on stage and are open to media.
The area is managed and staffed by Web Summit Rio's media team.
Each press conference features an introduction from Web Summit Rio's media team to assembled members of the media, followed by a brief statement or comment from the speaker before the floor is opened to questions.

Yes! Contact your Media Success Manager to be added to Web Summit Rio’s startup press list so you can make sure you’re up to date on the hottest startups.
Podcast Booth
Is there a podcast booth at Web Summit Rio this year?
Is there a podcast booth at Web Summit Rio this year?
Yes. Web Summit Rio has a dedicated and fully equipped space for recording audio and video content for your podcast. Podcasters can capture content, such as interviews, for their latest episodes in our custom built booth on the exhibition floor, equipped with microphones, a sound mixer, a video camera, a PA system so the podcast can be promoted to other attendees and an experienced engineer – all at no extra cost.

What are the Go Studios?
What are the Go Studios?
Our Go Studios are our on-site broadcasting facilities. These facilities are complimentary for journalists and are perfect for broadcast or video-based interviews.
We have one Broadcast studio on site and it's a 4x4m space and it includes power, ethernet, broadcast lighting, four high stools and two high tables.
Please note that our studio spaces are in high demand during events and must be booked through our Global Broadcast team. Please reach out to us at broadcasters@websummit.com if you are interested in booking any of our studio spaces.
