Impact at Web Summit

Launched in 2020, Web Summit’s Impact initiative unites exceptional startups advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with investors who focus on generating positive social and environmental impact.

At Web Summit 2025, we are celebrating the change makers at the forefront of this movement.

We identify impact startups, investors, and speakers using the SDGs as a guideline, which are a “shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.”

How do I find and connect with impact startups, speakers and investors?

Impact startups can be identified by an impact badge both on their exhibition board at the event and on the mobile app. You can search all attending startups through the app and filter specifically for impact startups if you want to target these companies directly.

Our impact speakers will be featured in curated track, making an impact, which will be released closer to the event on our website and app. This guide will feature all impact related content available at the event.

Impact investors can be easily identified through the mobile app by using the filter search function.
